Lathe Products for Different Machining Requirements #
KINWA builds both manual lathes and CNC lathes in Taiwan. The range covers small high-speed lathes, heavy-duty lathes, large lathes for long shafts, compact gang-type CNC lathes, slant-bed CNC lathes and flat-bed CNC lathes with large spindle bores.

Manual Lathes #
Manual lathes are operated directly by the operator and are suited to one-off parts, repair work, tool rooms, maintenance, education and high-mix low-volume production.
- CH Series High Speed Precision Engine Lathe — Models CH-400, CH-430 and CH-530. Swing over bed 406–532 mm; spindle bore 51–78 mm; 5 HP main motor. A general-purpose high-speed lathe for workshops, maintenance and training.
- CHD Series Heavy Duty Precision Lathe — Models CHD-560, CHD-660 and CHD-760. Swing over bed 560–760 mm; spindle bore 86–104 mm; 10 HP main motor. For larger workpieces and heavier cutting.
- CHK Series Heavy Duty Precision Lathe — Models CHK-860 and CHK-1020. Swing over bed Ø860–Ø1020 mm; spindle bore 105/153 mm; between-centers lengths up to 8,500 mm. For large, long and heavy workpieces.
CNC Lathes #
CNC lathes use a control system and machining program to execute tool movements. They are suited to repeat production, stable accuracy and automated manufacturing.
- CL Series - Gang Type — Models CL-10 and CL-100. Compact gang-type CNC lathes for small parts, polygonal turning and high-volume production.
- CL Series - Slant Bed — Models CL-220, CL-250, CL-280 and CL-320. Slant-bed CNC lathes with 8–15 inch chucks, bar capacity up to 115 mm and optional driven tooling.
- CL Series - Flat Bed — Models CL-650, CL-38, CL-58, CL-68 and CL-78. Flat-bed CNC lathes with swing up to 1,500 mm, spindle bores up to 530 mm and long between-centers capacities.
