CHK Series: Large Heavy Duty Precision Lathe #
The CHK Series is KINWA’s largest manual lathe family. It is designed for large-diameter workpieces, long shafts and heavy components where rigidity and spindle capacity are critical. Typical work includes rollers, shafts, sleeves, flanges, pipe fittings and components for energy, heavy machinery and transportation equipment.
Two models are available: CHK-860 with Ø860 mm swing and CHK-1020 with Ø1020 mm swing. Both can be ordered with different between-centers lengths, and both offer a choice of 105 mm (4 inch) or 153 mm (6 inch) spindle bore.

The between-centers length can be selected from a range of bed lengths. The spindle taper is MT7 x MT5 for the Ø105 mm bore and MT7 x MT6 for the Ø153 mm bore.
