CHD Series: Heavy Duty Precision Lathe #
The CHD Series extends KINWA’s manual lathe range to larger workpieces and heavier cutting. It is positioned between the general-purpose CH Series and the large CHK Series, making it suitable for job shops and manufacturers that need more swing and spindle capacity without moving to a very large machine.
The series includes CHD-560, CHD-660 and CHD-760. All three use a hardened and ground Meehanite bed, forced lubrication, an adjustable oil distributor, a safety starting lever and an emergency foot-operated brake. The headstock provides 12 spindle speeds, and the feed box offers 36 feed changes.
